

In my ck2 game I'd wiped out the orthodoxy and replaced it with nestorianism. Ironman just makes sure you can't fix bugs, and other problems, and randomly corrupts your saves every now and then. If you don't want to abuse reloading saves, nobody forces you to do so. Reman's Paradox: Ironman is all downside and absolutely zero upside. It depends on what you're trying to achieve. If you need to change characters religion, cultures etc.
